Drafting & Design
As your builder we provide an all inclusive drafting service which we know is realistic to your budget. We do this to speed up the process and avoid the painful delays of back and fourth between draftsman builder and client. This has proven to be a very efficient way to operate because we control build costs and we are organised more than ever before as we have very much educated ourselves on whats involved in the build before we get on site. We also get a lot of clients that come to us with there plans from an external source with an expectation of a budget that does not match their design.
So what we aim to do is to provide a one stop shop where we can nail your design and provide an efficient level of quality and cost control.
If you have a sloped block then I would love to come and have a look to express my ideas on how we can get things out of the ground for you in the most cost effective way.
The design side to things is personally my favourite stage of the job and I am always looking to find ways to provide extra natural light and a feeling of space along with handy cost effective storage solutions and other handy day to day life conveniences.
Renovations & additions
At JLD we thrive on home improvement and we are far from a limited new home builder who runs everything out of office.
I have tackled a lot of restoration work with my own hands. Along with rear ground floor additions and have developed a real knack for lightweight 2nd storey timber frame additions which really suits a client who wants more rooms but to maintain their block space.
If you have a house and a block that you love and you don’t want the drama or financial stress of an increased mortgage for something that you will probably want to improve anyway than I would love to express my ideas on a design which can utilise what you already have.
Outdoor Entertaining areas
We love a good outdoor area and we can take it a lot further than just your generic colourbond patio.
We have designed and built massive insulated outdoor areas which very much have provided a unique facet to the house
which can be enjoyed in all four seasons and not just summer .
In the past we have built fabulous decked and hardscaped areas with outdoor kitchens, pool fencing, skylights,and raked ceilings.
